2026 Women of Impact Scholarship Program

The Young Women Foundation is proud and honored to offer our annual scholarship to women who are full-time undergraduate college students enrolled at an accredited college or university in New Jersey. Our goal is to offer annual scholarships to help women meet the costs of higher education.

Application & Deadline

You can apply by completing the scholarship application form and including all the required documentation. The application and all required documents must be e-mailed to tywscholarship@gmail.com by June 15, 2026, for your application to be considered.

To ensure that your application receives full consideration, we suggest that you carefully

read the eligibility requirements and follow the application instructions. Please note, incomplete applications will not be considered.

Eligibility Criteria

Each applicant must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in New Jersey as a full-time undergraduate student

  • Primary residency in New Jersey

  • Have a minimum G.P.A. of 2.50 or above

  • Able to demonstrate leadership skills through community involvement, extracurricular activities, or volunteer work

 

All applicants are required to submit the following:

  • Copy of ID (student ID is acceptable)

  • Transcript (unofficial transcript with GPA is acceptable)

  • Resume/CV

  • Personal Statement: This statement must demonstrate your writing skills, personal strengths & professional goals, financial need, community involvement, leadership skill application and other qualities you think we should know about you. Length of statement must be NO MORE THAN 500 words.

  • Letter of Recommendation (1): The letter can be from your teacher, professor, coach, employer, or a non-relative adult (excluding parents or relatives) from a social service or non-profit organization where you have volunteered.

  • Complete, sign and submit application

 

Women of Impact Scholarships range from $500 to $1,000.
