Fatima Konte

Board Member

Fatima Konte is a graduate of George Washington University, where she earned her Bachelor of
Science in Psychological and Brain Sciences in May 2024. She is a dedicated and driven
individual with a strong passion for advancing a career in medicine and improving healthcare
access for underserved populations.


Fatima currently serves as a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), where she provides
both emergency and non-emergency patient care. During her time at George Washington
University, Fatima held multiple leadership positions that reflect her commitment to service,
advocacy, and community engagement. As a Student Coordinator, she led recruitment and
training efforts for orientation leaders and developed programs focused on leadership, diversity,
and inclusion. She also served as Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion for the College
Democrats, Executive Vice President of Students for D.C. Statehood, and held leadership roles
within the African Student Association and other campus initiatives.


Fatima’s dedication to global health and service extends beyond the United States. She has been
a long-term volunteer with The Nest in Nairobi, Kenya, where she provides care and support to
children and leads fundraising initiatives to secure essential resources. Her experiences have
shaped her commitment to addressing health disparities and the social determinants that impact
marginalized communities.
